Learnings of 2021 - Wisdom of 2022

Learnings of 2021 - Wisdom of 2022. Hey, It's Lily! I know it's been months since I've posted a blog, and for those who have been asking when I'll upload a new one, here it is! Thank you for your patience! Anyway, I can't believe 2021 has ended, and so has the holiday. I hope you enjoyed the festive season! Now it's time to reflect on things; I know so many things happened last year that put our confidence in God, patience, mental and physical health, constancy in what we do, and maybe even our obedience to God to the test. But I don't think 2021 was solely filled with challenges and sufferings. In fact, the Lord has provided us with answered prayers, unexpected benefits to meet our needs, and so much more. I personally experienced a lot of hardships last year, and most of it I brought myself in. There are times when I know what I need to do and where to go, but I don't want to. It took me months to stop resisting until I finally gave up and started do...

The waiting season (Part 2)

The waiting season (Part 2)
Hey, It's Lily!

I decided to write about The waiting season (Part II) as it is a vast matter that we all experience, and one blog cannot lay all the points, so here's the second part that I learned through my waiting season.

"Wait" is also an answer to our prayers, and we all have a fair share of experience in waiting; may it be for a new car, a new house, a college application, a new job, or whatever your desires are. The process is never easy, tendencies are, either you get there, you give up or you get lost while waiting. It requires devotion, commitment, and obedience to the Lord. The process may take weeks, months, and even years before you can finally say, "My prayer has been answered".

We go through the waiting season because:

  1. The Lord is preparing you for His plan.
  2. There's something in you that needs to change. or
  3. It is not yet time.

God is always working behind the scene, thus, the waiting season. We struggle and that is part of the process, we may feel uncertain at times, we may feel that we were left behind, but the Lord won't make us wait out of anything that will harm us, because He makes all things work together for our good.

But what should we do in the waiting season?

Take one step at a time and learn through it, flourish in pain, take advantage of this season to empower you. Let God's grace bring us through it.

This is to remind everyone who is in their waiting season and is getting tired; "The amount of time that you invested in waiting, cannot compare to the blessing of the Lord that is at the end of this season."

After all, seasons come and go, we started it with an expectation, go through it with a teachable heart, and end it beautifully. For that, Praise God for all the learnings.
