Learnings of 2021 - Wisdom of 2022

Learnings of 2021 - Wisdom of 2022. Hey, It's Lily! I know it's been months since I've posted a blog, and for those who have been asking when I'll upload a new one, here it is! Thank you for your patience! Anyway, I can't believe 2021 has ended, and so has the holiday. I hope you enjoyed the festive season! Now it's time to reflect on things; I know so many things happened last year that put our confidence in God, patience, mental and physical health, constancy in what we do, and maybe even our obedience to God to the test. But I don't think 2021 was solely filled with challenges and sufferings. In fact, the Lord has provided us with answered prayers, unexpected benefits to meet our needs, and so much more. I personally experienced a lot of hardships last year, and most of it I brought myself in. There are times when I know what I need to do and where to go, but I don't want to. It took me months to stop resisting until I finally gave up and started do...

Life lately - How are you?

Life lately - How are you?

Hey! It's Lily.

It took me a while to be back. Life has been so busy in the past few months. So, today, I'm feeling kind of sick. I took a day off from work. (yay! free day!) The main reason I got time to write a blog. Hehe. It's been so overwhelming. My workload increased so has my laundry. (true horror story) But I'm doing so much better than 3 months ago, which I am really grateful for.

Anyway, how are you all doing? How's your health? Your sanity? Your wallet? (char) I guess the adulting life is meant to kick us so hard to be alive. But really, how do you destress yourself? How do you regain your energy from all the work on weekdays? Do you still hang out with your friends? I hope you do! I hope you find time to meet your friends (safely) and have time to chill. If not your friends, maybe your family.

Destressing is crucial to our overall health. There are ways to help yourself get away from your stressful environment without going out of the house. May it be a DIY project or online shopping, treating yourself to a good meal, or just a friend who listens. It doesn't always have to be expensive. This way, you're taking care of yourself, too. And I know sometimes, destressing could also mean disconnecting from the world. There are times where you feel like deactivating your social media accounts, and that's okay, too! Just make sure that when you do, you help yourself regain all your energy back. However, please do not let yourself be disconnected from your families and friends for too long. You know how the saying "No man is an island" goes, right? It is always good to have a support system from the people you trust. Your decisions on when to connect and disconnect to people play a role in your well-being. So please, destress yourself in a manner that would impact your productivity, mental health, and discipline.

Would you mind sharing your way to destress? I would love to hear from you! Comment them below so we can be friends!
